According to ESPN Los Angeles, the Lakers will wear an alternative jersey with sleeves next season for "several" games.

The move comes after several other teams have experimented with the jerseys.  But the Lakers? One of the most storied franchises in NBA history?  This one is a big surprise to me.

The source also said that all 10 teams playing on Christmas Day have had mock-ups of the jerseys done by Adidas.  That includes, Brooklyn, New York, Chicago, OKC, Miami, Houston, San Antonio, LA Clippers, and Golden State, who wore the jerseys last season.
