Miami Heat foward LeBron James, who currently has his hands full with the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals, has been announced has the cover athlete for NBA2k14.
The move follows last year's cover that featured Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose -- who missed the entire year with a knee injury. I personally though 2k could do no wrong when they feature Michael Jordan on a number of consecutive covers.
Also, the chalk toss seems a bit played out, a signature move that LeBron doesn't even really do anymore. Would have been better if they had LeBron flopping on the cover.
To go along with the cover announced, 2k released this promo for NBA 2k14 on the PS4, which looks quite impressive:
